Voting is open now for the 2025 Neighborhood Fave awards. Neighborhood Faves is Nextdoor’s annual local business awards, giving neighbors a way to celebrate and support the businesses they love. Winners are determined by Faves, recommendations, and @mentions received over the past year through 10/17/25 at 11:59:59 PM PT.

Awards are given across 20 different categories including food & drink, services, wellness, shopping and more. Voting closes 10/17/25 at 11:59:59 PM PT.

How can I vote?

You can vote in several ways:

Find the Business Page of the business you want to vote for and Fave.
Find the Business Page of the business you want to vote for and write a recommendation on their page.
Create a new post and @mention the business name.
Reply to an existing post and @mention the business name.

When does voting close?

Voting will close on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM PT.

What categories are there for Neighborhood Faves?

There are 20 different categories including food & drink, services, wellness, shopping and more.

When will the winners be announced?

The winners will be announced on or about mid-November 2025 on Nextdoor.

How can I find out who won?

You’ll be able to see the winners at your Nextdoor Neighborhood Faves Winners page. Currently this page shows the 2024 Neighborhood Faves winners. It will be updated once the 2025 winners are announced.

How will I know if my business won?

If your business was voted a 2025 Neighborhood Fave, your Business Page will display a trophy icon next to your profile photo and a 2025 Neighborhood Fave badge in the Awards section of the business page. You’ll also receive an email notification from Nextdoor on or about mid-November notifying you of your win and including a digital Winner’s Kit to help you promote your win!

How are Neighborhood Faves winners determined?

Winners are determined by the total number of Faves, recommendations, and @mentions that the business receives from Nextdoor users over the past year.

Are stickers being provided to Neighborhood Faves winners this year?

Yes! If you are a 2025 winner, a physical sticker will be mailed to the address listed on your Business Page. If you haven’t received your sticker by December 1, 2025, let us know, and we can assist you. For those who haven’t claimed their free Business Page yet, you can do so here.

I was a Neighborhood Faves winner in past years. Will my profile photo still display a trophy icon?

Trophy icons on profile photos are only marked for 2025 winners, however past years you’ve won will display in the Awards section of your business page.

If I purchased advertising products through Nextdoor, does that impact whether I am a Neighborhood Fave?

Purchasing a paid advertising product on Nextdoor has no impact on Neighborhood Faves voting or winners.
